All I ever wanted to do was work in telly. Growing up as a dyslexic working class kid in Essex the telly was my everything. It did what it said on the tin, it educated, informed and entertained me. When I was 13 yrs old i wrote to the BBC and asked what exams I would need to get a job. Several weeks later I got a letter advising me. I followed it to the T! I went to The Guildhall of Music & Drama studying Stage Management. I then worked for Cambridge Theatre Company, The Royal Court. A highlight was working on Bernadette The Musical, often voted the worse show to hit the West End. We rehearsed longer than we ran!

At 22 I became a floor assistant at the BBC. Over two decades at the beeb I worked my way up the ladder (2nd Ad, 1st Ad, Location Manager, Production Manager, Line Producer, Assistant Producer, Producer, Exec Producer) working mostly in scripted Drama & Comedy with a dash of Entertainment Shows. I worked on amazing shows with the very best. Shows including The Victoria Wood Shows, Only Fools & Horses, Friday Night Armistice, Fist of Fun, Oz, The Vampyr, Waiting for God, The Royal Variety Shows, The Baftas, Noels House Party, The Generation Game, Deadringers, TV to Go, Jam & Jerusalem, Wogan, The Late Show and Top of The Pops. ​​

I joined Armando as Head of Production for his dept at the BBC called S.L.A.P where i spent 4 years creating and developing shows like The Thick of it, Labrat's, Genius, Time Trumpet and In The Loop.

Having a full understanding of production and every role has enabled me as a producer and leader. I know what it takes to make a team, to make a show the very best it can be. ​I love everything about storytelling, that feeling you get when you read a script that grabs you. I am good at my job & bring a wealth of experience & people like working with me.

Over the next five years in the ideal world I want to work on shows where I can bring something to the table with good people who care as much as I do and who like to have fun on the journey.
